Solidworks delete feature but not sketch

It was not used in any way to actually place or define any component, let alone any features in components. All I wanted to do was delete it because it has served its purpose. Sure, I can just hide it instead, which I have done. This isn't stopping me in any … WebJan 19, 2004 · Hi! I have seen cases like this. It is like the sketch pattern definition is destroyed somehow. Edit and delete are blocked. This is considered a corruption. You may have to delete the sketch. Could you post the file here or send it to me? I would like to take a look and see if there is any other option besides deleting. Many thanks!
