You will see the same colour coding on many Ethernet connections.On switches for example. Amber = 100 Mbps, Green = 1000 Mbps. Just another user with a set of boilerplate macros.

The LAN ports of the router are capable of up to 1000Mbps. If it's not the device then it could be the Ethernet cable used. ElaineM.
