All three are great. The peaveys are more raw & nasty while the EVH is more mature, refined. WebThe Invective does have the 20/5/1 watt attenuation, but to me is sounds kinda flat in the lower wattage levels. The 6505 MH sounds awesome in the lower wattage levels if you want to stick with an all tube amp, but if you don’t mind a tube solid/state hybrid, I’d say check out the Orange Micro Dark or at 1 watt, the Marshall DSL1HR.

I owned both at the same time and prefer the 6505+... I had high hopes for the Invective. The high gain tones on the 6505+ was just better IMO.
